When I decided that I wanted to buy a car my first aspect was safety and it was prerequisite. Also, I work in an MNC and I’m well aware from my colleagues, what SKODA cars stand for. I wanted a car that provided me with amazing performance and was safest for my family within the budget of 15L and I can proudly say that I chose the right one.

The one thing I love the most is the build quality and the 7 speed DSG performance.

I’m an avid traveller and monsoon calls for long drives. This monsoon I drove to through the Western Ghats, it was a Kerela-Tamil Nadu-Karnataka stretch. The plans were impromptu and I ended up driving 15 hours and more in a day; covering the Chikmagalur-Agumbe and few less explored places in Nothern Malabar Area. This car can literally go anywhere. I was so impressed with the traction control, hill assist and not to forget the ground clearance as the entire trip was with zero underbody hits.

Surprisingly, my service is due by in the first week of August and the ODO reading is almost around 12000km. I remember when my ODO reading was 6000km I just visited the Manikandan service centre to check up the oil level and found out that it was adequate. I asked my service engineer that if he could top it up and without any hesitation, he did it immediately! I’ve had a great service experience.

I remember once it was bumper to bumper traffic in Kochi. I had to suddenly hit the brakes and the biker had hit my rear bumper. I thought there would be a dent on my rear bumper, so I parked my car aside for inspection and to my surprise, the first layer of paint was off from the bumper with no dents at all. I mention this again, that just simply impressed with the build quality. I own a hatchback car as well from another brand. I know how SKODA is way ahead and I agree to it. As the brand’s tagline says, “Simply Clever”.
